Soap Or Feminine Wash?

When I was in my teen age years, feminine wash are not even introduce to the market and we only soap back then. Now that feminine wash are everywhere, in different brands, in different scents and different sizes, choosing what is best for you is now harder than ever. What should be the basis? Is it the scent? the size? what brand? And what is ph all about? And do we really need to say goodbye to soap?

SOAP. Is it really safe to use soap in washing your genitals? Advertisements talks about the ph level and how the harsh chemicals on soaps can alter the ph levels of the vagina. The change in ph level can lead to bacterial infection. Ph is the measure of acidity or basicity of a solution. The ph level ranges form 1 to 14. Level 1 means it is very acidic and level 14means it has a base solution. The ph level of our vagina ranges from 3.5 to 7. It is during our pregnancy that our vagina is most acidic. The acidity of our vagina helps to control the growth of bad bacteria. And since soap damages the ph level of the vagina, bacterial growth are encouraged thus it can lead to bacterial infection.

FEMININE WASH. Feminine wash has natural ingredients that will protect and help to maintain the vagina’s natural environment. Most feminine wash has lactoserum and lactic acid. Lactoserum is an ingredient from milk that helps in stabilizing the natural ph level of our vagina. Lactic Acid is very important in keeping the vagina safe from infection. It works to maintain the perfect balance of bad bacteria and good bacteria in the vagina. This acid is produced by the bacteria lactobacilli where its growth is facilitated by lactic acid. That is how important lactic acid is, it is part of the natural cycle of the vagina.

Now that we know why we need to choose soap over feminine wash, how can we know what is the right feminine wash for us?What do you think?

about that gyneacologist who said only soap and water will do: he should go back to university.

Why soap wont work? ever tried washing ur intimate area 1st leaving soap on it while u wash ur face, hair, rest of the body… it itches, it hurts, its really really painful.. (i know u dont wash urself inside – only outside, but the micro-pieces of soap can reach inside of ur vagina or at least entrace to it which is also very very sensitive)
The old types of soap was a different soap then the ones we can now find in shops. Those soaps were just washing ur body by making foam. they didnt have scent, they didnt have cool colours. they didnt moisture, they didnt help keep good ph of ur body skin.
Todays soap are specially designed to smell nice, have nice unnatural colour, keep ur skin fresh and smooth by moisturing it, and helps keep ph balanced. they are very good when it comes to the body and ur face but ur intimate parts need a bit different treatment.

why it hurts after normal soap? beacouse it dries us out and makes our vagina defenceless.

Most women these days are very active (sports,work,kids.. always in a rush). We cant buy underwear with 100% cotton becouse they dont make it anymore… We use combined pill as contraception… Those and many other things can cause candidia for example. Easy to get infected when acidic enviroment in ur vagina is unbalanced. Hard to treat it and once u had it u may get it again and again and again… How to fight it? Simple: by helping ur intimate areas keep right balance. Dont just buy feminine wash – they are useless. Buy feminine wash that contains lactic acid – thats what we need. It is hard to find especialy in UK but u can get them in pharmacy.
dont buy shiny and lovely-smelly things with camomile and whatever they say is in. they smell nice, look nice, seem good since they are expensive, but they will do nothing good for u. by buying products with lactic acid u can be sure u are safe and ur intimate parts have enough acid to fight all the infections that are waiting for us everywhere we are: the bacterias on our vaginal skin. :P
